2026 ENGLESTAD CUP FORMAT

Team Captains - Jake Englestad and Andy Davey
Midwest Mods and Super Stock drivers entered into the Labor Day Shootout are eligible to be drafted. Andy is ineligble to compete as he is a team captain. Each team will have 5 racers.

A coin flip will determine two things: draft order, and the starting lane for each team. Jake will call for heads or tails. The winner of the coin flip will get the first draft pick, and they get to choose whether their team starts on the inside lane or the outside lane.

Teams will be drafted heads up, coin flip winner/loser/winner/loser/and so on, until both teams are filled.

Jake's team will pick the starting spot for each member of Andy's team.
Andy's team will pick the starting spot for each member of Jake's team.

The race will be 10 laps. Points will be assigned based on the finishing order:
1st - 10; 2nd - 9; 3rd - 8, 4th - 7; 5th - 6; 6th - 5; 7th - 4; 8th - 3, 9th - 2; 10th - 1.

The team with the highest combined score will be declared the winner of the 2026 Englestad Cup.
